Dr. B.S. BEDI
It is a matter of great satisfaction to note that the Jaipuria Institute of Management studies
is giving great importance to the all pervasive new idea of Innovation in all spheres of
management education. This institute is yet another big leap forward in providing world class management
education by the Jaipuria group. Today, as India is poised to become a superpower the focus is on building
a knowledge society of tomorrow, and hence management education assumes a more vital role.
The sacred mantra, upheld so dear to heart by the Jaipuria chain of management institute is, never to compromise
on quality. It is a natural imperative and it is an utmost need of today. I am confident that the JIMS will take
up the thread and uphold this tradition and Jaipuria benchmark of management education will continue to cherish
this desired goal.
In the modern scenario the most challenging task for the managers, both in the field of management and technology,
is managing diversity, multi – skilling and multi – tasking and value enhancements of a business school can come
about only through knowledge acquisition and there are no shortcuts. There is no doubt in my mind that the JIMS
shall achieve the ultimate objective of producing excellent managers for tomorrow who are fired with patriotic
fervour, ambition for excellence and desire to elevate themselves through a constant and conscious endeavor to
shine in the corporation Cosmos and bring a good name to the industry which they serve.
It is, indeed, a matter of pride to note that in all fields of management education, whether it is pre- joining
orientation, mentorship programme, learning through outbound programme (O.B.L) pre- job induction or the internship
& field assignments, the Institute’s mission will be to keep the students community updated or in sync with market
reality so that they are able to merge their knowledge and talent with the reality of the world in order to pursue
a vocation of their choice which will take them to newer heights. The budding managers pursuing management education
must, however, remember that “there are no full stops” in education and it does not end with their formal education years.
The journey is on and the end is elusive.
I am sure that Institute’s intellectual capital, high quality educational, infrastructural and instructional standard,
numerous forums for personality development, excellent intellectual inputs, all put together will pay over budding
globe trotters rich dividends and put the Institute, like other Jaipuria Institutes in the Country, on a very high
pedestal and carve out an enviable niche in the realm of management education.
I wish all those associated with the institute a grand success in their endeavour.
