MBA (full time) is a two years pogramme approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), Ministry of HRD, and Government of India, duly affiliated by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.
The programme provides a solid foundation in general business studies, as well as specialized education. Various subjects are taught under the well-established basic functional discipline of management, viz. Finance, HR, Marketing, IT & System. During the first two semesters, the subjects taught shall be common to all the students. However, in the second year, the students are offered electives in each functional area with option to adopt minor and major subjects from elective groups. Details of the syllabus are supplied to each student selected or admission upon joining the institute.
Students are given opportunities to gain real professional experience by making their own business decision, taking leadership initiative and learning the value of them work. We interview each of our applicants to guarantee that the diverse group of individuals selected can work in teams as well as lead them.
To cater to the needs of international business scenario, JIM has accepted the challenge to prepare the students as internationally accepted products.
The course content emphasizes on several field visits for each subject to offer extensive practical exposure.
The strong emphasis is to put on a large number of compulsory presentations, utilizing the latest audiovisual equipment in order to build up the communication skills of the students. The pedagogy besides, classroom includes large number of case analysis and discussion, role plays simulating real life business situations and weekly interaction with practicing business leaders and executives.

MBA's two-year curriculum is divided into 4 semesters. The III and IV semesters shall consist of a pool of electives for I and II specialization and core subjects. It includes co-curriculum and extra curricular activity as prescribed from time to time by the College/University.
