Dr.S Nigam is a professor of OB/HR at IBA and an academic administrator who has an admirable experience of almost two decades in both academic and corporate fields. In his long innings, he has served as a facilitator in grooming more than 1500 managers who have been unceasingly bringing laurels both to their respective organizations and the industry as a whole. Apart from being a meticulous researcher, he has co-authored the text books of Business Studies for NCERT. He has organized International training programmes for Project Directors of SAARC Countries (a UN funded project) and SRI LANKAN Govt. for their Provincial Council Members. He has been involved in designing HR Policy for a 100 crore company, incentive schemes, appraisal policy and employee satisfaction study for different SME’s.

The session had 75 plus delegates consisting of faculty and students of MBA. Though the session adopted a presentation approach, it was very interactive. Aspects beneficial to students relating to summer placement training and specialization to be taken during curriculum were addressed and discussed. Potential and opportunities for HR professionals was highlighted. An essential skill elaborated, common to all specializations was the requirement of positive attitude in the students. Dilemma of dual specialization was clarified to satisfaction.
