Campus Safety

The Office of Campus Safety & Security consists of a team of people working with the campus community to promote a safe environment in which to live, learn, and work. Primarily service-oriented, the department exists to meet the specialized safety needs of the Institute. These needs include the maintenance of public order, incident response and documentation, emergency first-aid treatment, responding to other emergencies, traffic, parking supervision, and other related activities.

Campus Safety & Security Officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day. They are responsible for the enforcement of Institute rules and regulations. Violations of law are referred to the Vasundhara police for action. The campus communications system has direct access to Vasundhara police station, allowing Campus Safety & Security Officers ready access to law enforcement officials when needed.

It is incumbent upon every member of the Institute to be alert to situations that require the attention of Campus Safety & Security. Any unusual occurrence/objects must be brought to the notice of the Secretary, Security Committee immediately.
